My first encounter with fate.
Mainly because I saw it in movies and tv shows and brushed it off.
I thought something like that couldn’t happen to me.
Like I guess it’s interesting concept but who knows.
Well until I met my long term ex-
I still think to this day he was a soulmate
maybe not the “one” but
he definitely was significant
and was meant to be in my life
haven’t spoken to him in a year
I don’t plan to speak to him ever again
But I genuinely hope he finds his wife.
Either way, this is why I believed that.
At the time, I wasn’t taking any man serious-
I was talking to multiple and messing around
I had just gotten over my first biggest heart break
So I just wasn’t in the place to deal with anyone.
This guy finds me on twitter and he sees my tweets.
He notices I like my hero academia
Which happens to be a movie in the theaters.
He dms me and essentially buys tickets-
Says we are going to see that movie.
I agree not knowing the guy at all.

I had no clue who this guy was but I still went.
We went to chipotle and I don’t like eating infront of men.
So I just played with my food and kind of stared at the table…
I am bad with eye contact.
This guy is wearing balanciagas, a chanel hoodie, with a louie wallet.
Completely out of my league.
I ask what he does for work and he lies and says drug dealing.
I almost believe him because how did he have that much money?
And why is he so nonchalant about it?
I also never seen balanciaga sock shoes in real life at that point so I was amazed they were legit.
I see a movie with him and then we play toontowns and stuff on the computer later.
This guy has a full on setup and everything.
Wow.
I was amazed like oh ur a gamer too?
I didn’t know nothing about him.
Well apparently he asked a group of people about me…
unironically I went to middle school and was friends with all of them when I was younger.
They didn’t recognize me but they gave me a thumbs up anyways.
Not only that but I went to middle school with him too.
Actually, I stood by his locker EVERY SINGLE DAY.
I would talk to his friends group
But I don’t remember ever seeing him.
Which also leads to a funny story…
I was late to class one day and I was walking to my french class.
I look over and these girls start fighting.
I mean BRAWLING.
She starts hitting the girl and then one grabs the other girls head and slams it against a locker.
I am just standing there watching the entire fight go down.
While that was happening-
A teacher came to stop the fight
but the girl started beating up the teacher.
I am just shocked.
I don’t think that’s a memory I could forget like
I vividly recall that fight.
Well… Their was someone standing across from me during that fight watching it go down.
It was…It was him.
I don’t even remember him being there but he apparently was- similar story and everything.
So I start talking to this guy,
I am a sleuth so obviously I investigate
I find his youtube channel.
he is a famous youtuber.
?????!!?!?!?!?!?!?
what.
He eventually shows me his channel at some point but I just tell him I knew lol.
I am like wow I always wanted to do content creation.
I told him how I was a streamer at some point.
And that it’s kind of crazy because I wouldn’t have expected that to just happen.
We obviously dated for a long time
years and years.
But also another funny fact-
His uncle almost married my great grandma
?!?!?!??!
And my dad would go to his cousins shop daily (that was when my dad lived an hour away from where we lived.)
How does that even…..what’s the possibility ?
But Yea, After that…
it’s kind of hard not to?
Like…
the odds you meet someone…
and you have been in each other's orbit for years…
and they just happen to appear in your life at the weirdest time
and then they just help you and give you a bit of hope.
